Storyboard Pro — How to Smooth Out Jaggy Brush Strokes — Toon Boom Tutorial Video

Do your brush strokes look jaggedy when you’re drawing in Toon Boom Storyboard Pro? It may just take a quick change in your Preferences to make your lines look nice and smooth. The feature I’m showing is called “Full Scene Anti-aliasing,” and when that option is enabled, your vector brush strokes look just as smooth on the screen as they will when they’re exported.

If you are using Windows, you must enable your graphic card’s anti-aliasing option. Refer to your graphics card manufacturers user guide to learn how (usually you can find the ptions in Windows Control Panel).

For more technical info on Toon Boom Storyboard Pro’s Full-Scene Anti Aliasing settings, see Toon Boom’s page at http://docs.toonboom.com/help/storyboard-pro/#HAR/Stage/004_Drawing/021_H1_Viewing_the_Final_Lines_as_you_Draw.html
