Hey sherm. Do you think it would have been funny to show that splat of ice cream on her face first and then perry flying through the shot afterward? I feel like it would have more surprise. Do you think it would be too confusing?
Hi Kevin…that approach could work, but up till that moment I hadn’t emphasized the cone melting. It might be getting too far ahead of the viewer. Those things are always judgement calls, and we usually find the best solution when we pitch it or when we edit the animatic. Good question!
Holy cow! 33:34, that overhead background of the neighborhood makes me want to cry, it looks great, though!
After some holidays I return to continue with the course. Very good and useful lesson, very interesting the four planes of depth.
